What standard pricing costs today

Current-cost estimate only. Pick the published standard rate, enter your monthly card volume and transaction count, and see the fee that rate produces. No Caribbean Payments price is shown here.

Processor

Enter monthly card volume and the number of transactions to see an estimate.

Estimate based on standard published pricing as of Sept 29, 2026.

This estimates what that published standard rate costs. It is not a Caribbean Payments price and it does not estimate savings.

Example: $20,000 over 400 transactions on Stripe standard ≈ $700/mo, ≈3.5% effective.

Pricing

Why switching can save money

A standard flat rate charges the same percentage on every card. Your own merchant account can be priced another way. Nothing on this page is a guarantee.

Standard flat pricing charges every card the same

On standard flat pricing, the same percentage applies to every card, including lower-cost debit and regular consumer cards.

Interchange-plus shows the real network cost

Interchange-plus (cost-plus) shows the card network’s interchange and assessments, then adds a markup. A lower-cost card costs less because the network portion is lower and the markup is separate.

Your own merchant account is your relationship

With your own merchant account you own the relationship. Your pricing is tied to your business, not to a shared platform account.

“Standard” on this page means the published rate for US accounts. Stripe and PayPal also offer custom or interchange-plus pricing to some merchants. This calculator does not use those custom rates.

What we already offer

We do everything you use Stripe for, and more

These are the tools this site already describes: online checkout, payment links and invoices, in-person terminals, ACH, and next-day deposits. It is not a claim that we resell every Stripe product.

Payment links and invoices

Create a payment link and send it by text, email, WhatsApp, or on an invoice. The virtual terminal also sends professional invoices with a pay-online link.

In-person terminals

Countertop and mobile card terminals for chip, tap, and swipe, including Clover and Dejavoo.

ACH and checks

Electronic check acceptance and ACH bank transfers for invoices, memberships, and larger payments. ACH and eCheck transactions typically carry a small flat fee instead of a percentage of the sale.

Next-day deposits

Puerto Rico merchant pages on this site describe next-day deposits on settled batches. The San Juan page calls that next-day funding for batches run in the San Juan metro.

Your statement

How to download your statement

A monthly statement or the export below is enough for a first look. We read gross volume, the transaction count, and total fees.

  1. Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Go to Reports, then Balance summary.
  3. Use the section named “Balance change from activity”.
  4. Export a CSV or a PDF.
  5. On the charge row, the count and the gross volume are your transactions and card volume. The fee column is the total fees.

Switching questions

Do I need to close my Stripe or PayPal account?

No. You can keep that account open while we review a statement and while a merchant account is being opened. Many businesses overlap the two on purpose. Closing the old account is your decision, and only when you are ready.

Can Caribbean Payments help if I’m in Puerto Rico?

Yes. Caribbean Payments is a Puerto Rico-based merchant services provider. We offer payment processing for businesses across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, with an office at Km 12.4 PR-833 in Guaynabo. Call 787-986-4056 or send the form on this page.

How long does a statement analysis take?

A person on our Puerto Rico team reads what you send and replies with what those fees show. This site does not publish a fixed turnaround. If a total is missing, we ask for it before we comment on the statement.

Is this a guarantee?

No. The calculator is an estimate of standard published pricing only. A statement review explains the fees on the document you send. It is not a promise that you will pay less, and there is no guarantee of savings.

What is interchange-plus?

Interchange-plus (also called cost-plus) shows the card network’s interchange and assessments, then adds a markup. Standard flat pricing charges the same percentage on every card, including lower-cost debit and regular consumer cards. With interchange-plus, a lower-cost card costs less because you see the network cost and the markup separately. Stripe and PayPal also offer custom or interchange-plus pricing to some merchants. This page estimates their standard published rates, not those custom deals.

What should I send?

A recent monthly statement, or the Stripe balance summary or PayPal activity export described above. Gross volume, the transaction count, and total fees are enough for a first look.

Tell us about the business and send the statement when you have it. If you used the calculator, those bands are filled in here. A person on our team replies. This is not an automated savings quote.
